Short Bio: Jacinto Estima is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering - University of Coimbra, Portugal, and a researcher at the Information Systems Group of CISUC. He works on problems related to the areas of Information Systems, Geographical Information Science, and Citizen Science. Jacinto has been involved in several research projects related to the participation of volunteers in different environmental initiatives, and he has accumulated expertise in addressing challenges that intersects volunteered geographic information and machine learning.
